Lord Ezekiel Weathers has been the Silver Fort Commander for over 30 years. Given the post originally to get him out of the way of Capitol Court politics and placed into the quietest and least funded part of the Border wall, he is one of the main reasons the Fort held. Silver Fort was the first which accepted dwarves into their units and negotiated the use of outer dwarven tunnels of Argent Mountain to perform surprise attacks on orcish forces after the main defensive wall fell, giving time for the Iskerian military to dig in on the Freya's Hair River and Ice Lake coasts.

After the war he was offered a significant amount of land away from the border, but he chose to stay and rebuild the fort and the wall and oversee further defense.
