• A Spell Scroll(in a waxed leather tube) in a unfamiliar pictographic language (needs identifying)

Happenings:

A relaxing boat ride, with some entertainment provided by local fauna. Pilv fumbled a throw and blew himself and Loktar up a bit. Bart the Lizardman tried to climb over the wheel to escape a cave fisher but messed up and got flung overboard, polymorphed into a Giant Lizard.

Reached the harbour of the Dwarfhold, saw the gates slightly ajar, a purple blob in the middle absorbing magical energy from the doors, a bunch of dead dwarves around the door and signs of a pitched battle.
