__**Happenings:**__

**Prelude:**

During the night a 4 man advance party keeping watch about 50km(an 10 hr journey) from the border sent a Sending saying “Commander, we are…” no further contact was made and they could not be Scryed. Fearing the worst, first available unit is sent to investigate.

**Game:**

Intel brief at war table - walk to first watchtower along the wall - longstrider and pointed to the watch post - Roaming wolf pack with a Dire Wolf Leader - Hills, ruins of the watchtower in the distance, see a big flame and hear orcs - Stealth to get close - 2 orcish lookouts, one near tower, one further - then Orcish campfire at the ruins: several young Orcs and Orc Hunters, lead by a shaman and a warband leader - all scouts are dead and burned at the flame - ritual markings around the fire and on the orcs - a blood ritual celebrating first kill - wait until the morning - try to take out the lookout, fail - calls others - try to sneak around - Orcs see - kill the first 4 orcs - Shaman, Leader and a Hunter still alive and will get there soon.
