  * Repeatedly destroyed and rebuilt over the last 200 years after every big orc invasion due to valuable metals there.
  * Always have at least 1 dwarf either in command or in an otherwise important position.

  * Fortified mining settlement 
  * Western entrance to the old abandoned and sealed Dwarven mountainhold Khazad Ak'Grozkro - currently all known tunnels leading to it are collapsed
  * Was under siege by an unknown number of Orcs
  * Under orcish control
