+Upon entering the Izar Beta system, the Aurora received a communication on an encrypted channel very similar to the signal they traced back from The Aurora's systems after the initial purge. The signal contained a call for help from "friendly assets", indicating an imminent attack. Of further note was, that the signal contained a set of coordinates, which due to light lag could not know of the Auroras entry into the system by the time the message arrived. \\
+After a visual sweep of the system, 2 DropShips under high burn towards the indicated coordinates were detected and the Company decided to pursue. \\
+Pushing the engines to their limits, the Company managed to reach the coordinates, a sub-planet sized airless frozen rock, at the same time, as the first of the detected DropShips. \\
+Since the signal identified itself as affiliated to the original operators of the [[battletech:aurora|Aurora]], Dmytro was sent to scout the location using the [[battletech:blackjack_bj-1|Blackjack BJ-1]] of the [[battletech:aurora|Auroras]] original inventory. The rest of the Company positioned themselves to interdict the approaching Mercenary 'Mech and heavy armor force. \\
+Having sent the Mercenaries into retreat, the Company investigated the signal coordinates, which turned out to be a Pinto class corvette buried in the ice of the planetoid - the [[battletech:minerva|Minerva]]. \\

+The decision was made to power up the ship to level the playing field against the fast approaching Pentagon class Assault DropShip. Once in orbit, Dmytro discovered, that the Minerva had a working Jump Drive and charged batteries, so provided a jump point could be located, the Company could avoid the oncoming fight by leaving the system. \\
+The Company docked the [[battletech:aurora|Aurora]] to the docking collar of the [[battletech:minerva|Minerva]] and set course into the fringes of the system on the lookout for any workable Pirate Jump Point, with the approaching Assault DropShip in hot pursuit. [[battletech:sipsik|Sipsik]] and [[battletech:metsavana|Metsavana]] managed to disable the pursuing DropShip using a hotwired capital class torpedo, that they manually shoved out of the airlock and pointed at the pursuers. The torpedo did not do catastrophic damage, but persuaded the pursuers to keep enough of a distance for the Minerva to find a workable Jump Point and leave the system. \\
+The coordinates for the next jump were procured by [[battletech:kratt|Kratt]] from the local ComStar business net. To no surprise they lead off the beaten starmap into a system with a Pirate presence. \\
+The system consisted of a red dwarf star and 2 planetoids, the first of which had an orbiting space station and a docked Jolly Roger class WarShip. Both factions postured and threatened each other, but no battle ensued. After 7 days of recharge time, the [[battletech:minerva|Minerva]] jumped back to Izar. \\
+The Local Government, faced with the prospect of potentially having to face down the guns of a working WarShip encouraged the Company to move on and even provided a lead, that the Ministry of Archeology of the Capellan Confederation was looking for a mercenary unit with FTL capability in the Alexandria system. \\
